Falling through broken vents or Orrery Plaza: two known demo hazards
The October 13 v47.85ed notes explicitly list two falling-out-of-world problems: broken vents, DAVO-121, and sprinting in the Orrery Plaza area, DAVO-124. They are known issues in those notes, rather than listed fixes.
Avoid entering broken vents and avoid sprinting through the named plaza as precautions. The notes do not prove that walking is completely safe, identify guaranteed safe coordinates or provide an unstuck command for a character already outside the world.

Before testing another passage
- Check the current installed demo and released notes. A SteamDB record-update date alone does not prove these issues were fixed.
- Keep a normal Save while the menu is working, using the v47 Save and reload checks. Saving does not itself prevent a fall or guarantee a recoverable position.
- If you recognize a broken vent, keep your route on ordinary accessible floor and look for another connection. Do not deliberately reproduce the fall to confirm that the warning applies.
- In Orrery Plaza, avoid the documented sprinting condition. Stay alert to the actual floor and route rather than interpreting this advice as tested collision protection.
These precautions follow the published conditions. They are not a verified fix and do not establish that other locations are unaffected.
If the character has already fallen
Stop issuing movement commands and note where and how the fall happened. If the interface still works, record the installed version, location, movement state and any available screenshot. Keep the broken-vent and plaza-sprinting cases separate.
The checked announcement supplies no recovery command, save-file edit or teleport procedure. We cannot promise that saving in the failed state, reloading or forcing the program to close will restore a safe position. Do not replace a possible earlier good state with an assumed repair.
Use the developer's ordinary feedback route with the issue ID and circumstances. Do not upload account credentials or follow an unverified executable download presented as a fix.
Do not confuse the vent risks
A vent that lets enemies into a room is a different problem from falling through a broken vent. The plant-spawn guide describes limited player reports about barricades and tall grass; barricading is not documented as a collision repair.
Likewise, camera confusion does not establish a world-boundary failure. If the character is still on accessible floor but you have lost the way back, start with the orientation and route guide.

Official Steam news: October 13 Demo Patch v47.85ed is the latest official patch read in our October 16 check. It is a version reference, not proof of the build installed in every player video or older report. The parent game's future release is outside these guides.
