How to fill a jug or mug and carry water back to your retreat
Carry a suitable container to a water fixture and choose its matching Fill action from the fixture's context menu. In Pr1vateLime's October demo video, the sampled menu around 04:21 shows Fill Jug (empty), Fill Mug and Fill Canister (empty). Around 04:14–04:41, the creator discusses filling jugs and mugs and taking water along.
This is a portable-water task, separate from merely choosing a room near water. The sampled fixture is labelled Locker Toilet; the video then discusses choosing another nearby fixture. The menu does not establish that every water source has identical contents or safety.
Your next check
Container → fixture → matching Fill action
- 01Bring an actual fillable jug, mug or canister
- 02Open a fixture menu offering the matching Fill entry
- 03Let the action finish; inspect the resulting contents
- 04Return with the supply; no assumed purity or capacity

Bring a container before extending the trip
Keep the jug, mug or other fillable container you actually found. The demonstration supports the named options visible in that run, not a complete list of every usable object.
Baercub's current-demo account recommends finding water and setting up a retreat nearby. Portable water complements that advice: it lets you bring a supply along, while keeping a known fixture and return route. Neither source gives a universal fixture location for every starting area.
Match the menu action to your item
- Take the container to an accessible fixture that offers a water-filling interaction. Get out of immediate danger before using the menu.
- Open that fixture's context menu. In the sampled video, the menu heading identifies the fixture and the available Fill entries name the carried items.
- Choose the entry for the container you intend to fill, such as Fill Jug (empty) or Fill Mug. Do not select a cleaning action and assume it also fills water.
- Let the action complete, then inspect the resulting container in your inventory. Verify a change in its displayed contents before relying on it for the next excursion.
- Carry it back along your known route or keep it with the supplies for the next short trip.
If your container has no matching Fill entry, check the item and the fixture separately. The checked clip does not establish whether every decorative vessel, broken fixture or later build supports this action.
Do not turn a Fill menu into a purity claim
The sampled menu proves that the interaction is offered. It does not measure container capacity, refill speed, contamination, purification requirements or hydration restored. We therefore do not supply guessed litres, a boiling recipe or an instruction to drink from every toilet.
Read the current item's displayed information and choose the source deliberately. The creator's preference for a nearby non-toilet fixture is an opinion in that run, not a tested universal water-safety rule.
Check the correct survival need afterward
Thirst, ordinary hunger and the reported extra dirt need are separate checks. Carrying a filled container is not an infection cure. If the character is actively bleeding, follow the bleeding and health branch rather than expecting water alone to restore health.
Use the retreat-room checks to keep the return trip practical. If you dropped the jug and cannot reach the floor entry, see the limited visible-object pickup route.
